Last Winter season was absolutely exhausting. I worked long hours because my company was short-staffed, in addition to I never really got to have any personal time. Even when I wasn’t in the office, I had to be available by cellphone in case of any type of serious emergency. When January came, I decided to take a week-long holiday. I wanted to go away from the city to relax in addition to escape my task. I decided to rent a cabin in the mountains. The single place I ultimately chose was so removed from the city that it didn’t have WIFI, cable, or central heating in addition to air conditioning, and that was great, and of course I knew that I would have to chop wood for the wood-burning furnace to stay warm throughout the course of the week, so I made sure to take a great ax with me. The first few days were great. I would constantly wake up in the morning, drink coffee, study a book, in addition to go out to chop wood. After that routine, I began to miss the comfort of having a heater. Although I wasn’t able to take any work-related cellphone calls that week, I still had to spend a lot of time chopping wood. I began to recognize how convenient it is to control a furnace using a thermostat, and I also started to realize that I adore being able to press a button in addition to kick back in the comfort of my home. When I returned from my delightful holiday, my mind was in much better shape, although I had sore arms for a few days. It was really nice to relax beneath the air vents in addition to take in the warm air without having to even bother to lift a finger.
