Spring and HVAC

Social media has become such a big fad. It has really kicked off in these last five years. Since social media can really consume people’s lives in the way that they perceive themselves, I try to limit myself to the exposure of social media by only going on at least 3 times a week. I find that it is very cleansing and it allows me to focus on what’s actually going on in the real world. Sometimes social media can be beneficial for me especially when I need to do things around the house or find cooking recipes. The other day my friend posted an article about spring cleaning and getting your HVAC system prepared for warmer temperatures. After reading this article I really have taken into consideration that I need to start making my HVAC system a priority in my spring cleaning. What I read was that it’s important to check your HVAC air filters every month, and to replace them when it looks like it is filled. I also read that fiberglass filters only last about a month or so. That’s definitely a type of HVAC filter that I’m going to steer away from because I want something that’s going to be durable and last for a few months. I read that HEPA filters last about 6 months, they are reusable and can be cleaned with a vacuum hose. I’m glad that I found this article on my social media site, hopefully more useful articles like this one will be posted more.
