New furnace installation

My husband and I made an appointment with our local HVAC company, to have a new furnace installed last Saturday. Our old furnace was getting old, and we were in desperate need of a new heating system. We decided on the make and model of furnace that we desired, and we called around to find the best installation company. We found a reputable company online, and had them out for an estimate. They were very helpful and quite knowledge about the different heating systems that are available. The day before our new furnace was to be installed, the service manager called to confirm our appointment for nine o’clock the next morning. I told the service manager that we would be home and waiting for our new furnace. When it was about thirty minutes past nine o’clock, I called the HVAC company. They apologized for the delay and assured us that the technician was very close to our address at that time. At fifteen minutes past ten, I called the HVAC company again. I explained that the service technician was still not here for our nine o’clock appointment. When the HVAC installation technician finally arrived with our furnace, it was nearly 11am. I was very angry and I tried not to yell, but I couldn’t hold my tongue. I was furiously yelling at the technician, when he explained that he was coming from a different store to help out. The other installation technician had been in a fender bender and was detained for the rest of the morning. They offered us a complimentary upgrade to a new smart thermostat.
