I drove over the mountain to my mom and dad’s home ready to beginning cleaning out the attic eaves before my father had an occasion to begin throwing things away, and my dad had been warning us this past Winter that come summer, we were going to do a complete clean out plus trash anything unclaimed. As always, I wait until the last day. I arrive plus head into the eaves thankful my dad hadn’t started trashing yet, even more thankful that Dad plus mom decided to go away for the weekend! I spend a few days in the eaves, winding my way carefully among the ductwork careful not to tear or pull them away from the vents. I was not great once in the Winter as I rummaged around for Christmas lights, I wasn’t about to put this family out of central air in the middle of the Summer! Sweaty plus dusty plus semi great, I take a break plus head down to the lake, plus who do I find but my big sibling Lola! It had been months since I saw my sibling Lola, looks like I wasn’t the only person with home time on my mind… Lola had been down at the lake for a few days already plus complaining heartily about the heating there. Lola wanted me to take her home with the AC. I told her to kick back! I promised her that if I take her home, her and I wouldn’t be downstairs with the AC, I said there is no AC in the attic, which is exactly where you will be, cleaning with me, now what would you like to do?
