Climate change and my cooling system

This Spring, all of us experienced a seriously historic warm front in our area of the country. The hot and cold temperatures went from being settled comfortably in the lower to mid seventies to jumping up to the upper eighties in just a few afternoons’ worth of time. I had barely put away all of our Winter clothes and naturally I was reaching for our shorts and tank tops! Everybody in the town was totally unprepared, and I had many friends who complained that their Heating and Air Conditioning system was not completely able to meet the demands of the strange temperature change. When I talked to them, most of them hadn’t changed the air filters or of course performed routine maintenance on their a/c in over a year. When the hot and cold temperatures shifted, our friends’ Heating and Air Conditioning systems didn’t stand a chance at all. Luckily, I actually happened to be a bit more on top of things. My Heating and Air Conditioning system is something that I am very proud of. I always change the filters every couple of months, and once a year a Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman comes over to my house in order to to perform routine maintenance that I am unable to do. Because of our lovely a/c, the temperature change was not really a huge concern for me. This was around the time of year that drastic hot and cold temperatures of the Winter had ended, but the Spring heat was still a few weeks away, so our Heating and Air Conditioning system was turned off after being on the heating preference for about numerous months. On the first sizzling day, I woke up and right away switched it to cool, set the control unit, and within minutes our house was set to a rather comfortable seventy-multiple degrees. I truly guess this may not have been the case if I didn’t actually change out the filters and keep up with the routine maintenance year-round. If this summer season is going to be hot, I am prepared to take it on with our lovely a/c and the amazing Heating and Air Conditioning corporation which services it.
